Mac Makeup With Staying Power
For the record, I lived with godawful dark circles all my life as well. I dealt with all the little home remedies that people, especially family, feel obliged to share with you. I even tried some. But you know what? They will not go away. In my case, and by the looks of it, in yours as well, the reason for the dark circles is fundamentally genetic cheap mac brushes and unalterable. here, read point number 3 from this link in the side bar. The bone below our eyes is just positioned very low, so there nothing supporting the skin there, and so our circles are here to stay. Heck, I had dark circles in all my baby pictures!
Now, I be honest with you. At some point, you probably going to have to accept that all the lotions on earth and all the rest and relaxation in the world will only make them a shade or two lighter at best. The sooner you internalise this, the happier you be. So follow a normal skincare regime, heck, follow a normal healthcare regime. Then get yourself to a Bobbi Brown or Mac makeup counter, but DON buy the first product they shove at you. Ask for samples. Try some and then invest in a product that seems okay.
This product will NOT make the circles invisible. it just hide them a bit. Accept this. In fact, you probably go through 4 or 5 products before you find one that you actually like. Accept this too. And remember, just as you don judge and dislike people by the darkness of their eye circles or the frizziness of their hair, no one hating on you either. Good luck.
Makeupaddiction will have better advice on how to cover up dark mac makeup brushes circles than I do, but I do remember hearing you should use a yellowish concealer. Researching more, I also hearing it a good idea to use a translucent powder on top of that, and for your concealer to be a cream concealer. Also, to make sure to only apply the concealer to the dark area, not the whole under eye area. I don know how good any of this advice is, since I don cover up my dark circles. Anyway, as far as I seen people never notice some light foundation/concealer, so I wouldn worry about people realizing you wearing makeup. Just make sure it isn cakey or anything and that it the right shade.
I recommend getting someone at Sephora (or some similar place) to help you choose the right shade of concealer and maybe show you how to do it (a Sephora saleswoman found me what so far appears to be the only foundation that matches my skin tone, and they weren weird about me being a guy if that a concern for you). If you really don want to do that, there probably some good video tutorials out there.
Anyway, your dark circles definitely aren as extreme as you think, (the bit that looked darkest to me turned out to be a shadow upon closer examination). You also don have any bags under mac makeup sale the eyes it looks like. If all else fails, know that nobody else is really noticing or caring about them. Also some people find dark circles attractive (and by some people I mean me), but I know that never makes me feel better about body insecurities, so I not gonna be all "accept your BEAUTIFUL body the way it is!" because that annoying.
